Yellowgrey Webhosting (2005-2018)
Yellowgrey Webhosting was my inaugural venture, starting as a student project and evolving into a robust business specialising in providing top-tier SEO infrastructure. Over time, we developed a formidable portfolio featuring access to 1300 Class C nets and approximately 600 virtual private servers, offering substantial hosting infrastructure tailored to diverse client needs.
Our cutting-edge infrastructure leveraged GRE-tunnelled IP addresses, meticulously acquired across various PA/PI spaces and AS networks within Germany and Europe. These IP endpoints were strategically terminated at Avaya Tenovis in Frankfurt and Hetzner in Nürnberg, optimising performance and reliability for CMS endpoints.
The company was sold to a German web hosting group from Darmstadt, Germany.
SEARCUS DENMARK ApS – (2012 – 2015)
Searcus Denmark was a specialised marketing and SEO agency focused on the travel and hospitality sector in the Nordics Market. We provided tailored SEO services to help our clients achieve top rankings in search engine result pages (SERPs) for specific markets.
Our services included daily ranking crawls to monitor and optimise our clients’ positions in search results, ensuring continuous improvement and visibility. Additionally, we offered advanced IP infrastructure to support sophisticated link-building strategies, enhancing our clients’ online authority and search rankings.
We successfully served websites in eight different markets, delivering customised SEO solutions that addressed the unique challenges and opportunities in each region. Our expertise and dedicated approach helped our clients outperform their competitors and achieve sustainable growth in the digital landscape.
Novasol, Virum, Denmark - (2012-2017)
I played a key role in developing the core IT infrastructure for SEO at Novasol in Denmark, a leading player in the vacation rental industry. I designed and implemented an innovative network of over 1,300 bridge sites, each situated in different Class C nets, allowing specific countries to be assigned. This setup was specifically crafted to enhance their online presence and boost organic traffic.
My work helped position Novasol on numerous country-specific, local long-tail keywords in key markets, significantly increasing their visibility and search engine rankings. This extensive setup was constructed to be managed centrally, enabling efficient handling of a high volume of page views per month and resulting in a substantial rise in organic search traffic.
The scalability and robustness of the infrastructure I developed were crucial to their digital growth, ultimately contributing to their successful acquisition by Wyndham Group. My efforts not only increased Novasol’s visibility but also reinforced their market position, showcasing the transformative impact of a well-executed SEO strategy.
Cofman.com, Herning, Denmark (2012 - 2018)
For Cofman.com, a premier vacation rental platform, we operated a network of a couple of hundred websites and domains, all meticulously optimised for SEO. Our infrastructure not only supported their SEO goals but also ensured seamless user experiences, crucial for retaining and attracting customers in the competitive tourism sector.
Sol og Strand Feriehusudlejning A/S, Blokhus, Denmark (2012 - 2018)
Sol og Strand, another major player in the tourism industry, benefited greatly from our services. By leveraging my SEO-optimised infrastructure, they saw a substantial improvement in their search engine rankings and a significant boost in online bookings. Our dedicated hosting solutions enabled Sol og Strand to maintain high performance and reliability, critical for their business operations.
External Project: Hoosh Technology SA (2012 - 2016)
Hoosh Technology is an online marketing intelligence provider with core expertise in Search Marketing and Social Media Marketing. Founded in September 2012 by a serial entrepreneur and based in Lugano, Switzerland, Hoosh is financially backed by AGIRE and a private Italian investor. The company brings directly applicable insights to online marketers and decision-makers, empowering them to improve business performance.
As the technical development partner for Hoosh Technology, our task was to develop a Google crawler to provide state-of-the-art Google ranking and AdWords pricing information. Utilising a dedicated IP setup focused on localised IP infrastructure, we achieved an average daily crawling of around 13 million datasets. The crawler, built entirely in Java, was a testament to our technical prowess and ability to handle large-scale data processing. This project led to a massive improvement in Hoosh’s data accuracy and provided invaluable insights to their clients.
I was responsible for the architecture design, requirements engineering, and technical project management, ensuring the successful deployment and operation of this sophisticated system. This role allowed me to blend my technical expertise with strategic planning, delivering solutions that drove business success.
Bamat Capital AG, Hergiswil, Switzerland
Bamat Capital AG is a highly specialised and innovative agency renowned for its expertise in guerrilla marketing, reputation management, and forensic research. We delivered a comprehensive suite of services tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients, leveraging cutting-edge technology and strategic insights.
During my tenure at Bamat Capital AG, I played a pivotal role in establishing an IT manufacturing facility in Kharkiv, Ukraine. This project involved building a web team, which included company formation, recruiting top talent, and setting up robust project management and quality assurance processes. I was responsible for the development of complex IT solutions in the field of forensic research and reputation management.
In my role, I designed and implemented scalable and robust IT solutions that met the intricate needs of forensic research and reputation management, ensuring that these solutions aligned with business objectives and industry standards. I led project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects were completed on time, within scope, and on budget. LI Ukraine, Kharkiv Ukraine 2015-2018
I was responsible for establishing and managing a software development company in Kharkiv, Ukraine. This role involved the comprehensive development and implementation of project management, quality assurance, and software development processes to ensure the highest German standards of delivery.
In this capacity, I led the company in providing contract manufacturing services for German clients. A significant aspect of our work included the development of advanced crawlers for job advertisements and social media platforms, specifically focusing on LinkedIn, Meetup, and Xing. This involved not only the creation of the crawlers but also the meticulous processing and preparation of the gathered data to meet client requirements.
Furthermore, I oversaw the execution of contract manufacturing projects with a strong emphasis on Shopware software development and Typo3 web development. This required a deep understanding of client needs and the ability to translate these needs into technical specifications and actionable development plans.

Schmelzer Medien Data Solutions GmbH
At Schmelzer Medien Data Solutions, we specialise in the distribution of social media profiles and the crawling of job advertisements within the DACH region. Our extensive database boasts 680 million LinkedIn profiles and comprehensive crawls of Xing Germany.
In my multifaceted role, I leveraged a diverse skill set to drive business growth and technical excellence.
My responsibilities included:
- Development and Project Planning: Spearheaded the creation and deployment of advanced social media and job advertisement crawlers, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.

Financialbot AG 2019- 2020
Financialbot AG, also known as finBOT, primarily operates as a B2B information agency specialising in the acquisition and processing of company insight data in Germany. The company aggregates a unique mix of job, corporate, social media, and domain data from the internet, which is utilised by a variety of clients, from large corporations and government agencies to small startups. The business model of Financialbot AG centres around the provision of high-quality, real-time data services that are integrated into clients’ CRM, BI, or ERP systems.
Development of Social Media Crawlers: Upon joining finBOT, I took on the challenge of building social media crawlers. At that time, finBOT did not have any social media data capabilities. My primary goal was to enrich the company’s extensive database with real-time social media information. This initiative aimed to create a seamless bridge between firm data, social media data, and job advertisements, providing clients with comprehensive, cross-referenced insights to drive their strategic decisions.
Creation and Implementation of New Business Models: I played an active role in the development and conceptualization of innovative business models. This involved conducting extensive brainstorming sessions, leading collaborative workshops, and utilising strategic tools such as the Value Proposition Canvas. These efforts were geared towards identifying new revenue streams, enhancing service offerings, and ensuring finBOT’s continued leadership in data aggregation and analytics.
Development of an Elastic-Search Framework: I oversaw the development of an Elastic-Search framework, which served as the technical foundation for targeted selection of interconnected company, social media, and job advertisement data. The technical realisation of this project was executed in Ukraine, ensuring a robust and scalable solution that significantly improved data retrieval and analysis capabilities.
Strategic Planning and Execution: I contributed to the strategic planning and execution of key initiatives designed to expand the company’s data services. This involved market opportunity identification, client needs assessment, and the design of tailored solutions that aligned with our business goals. My strategic input was instrumental in positioning finBOT as a leader in the data services industry.
Montanus Apotheke / Digitalisation of Home Care
As the technical interim project manager and implementation partner, I spearheaded the digitisation of communication between nursing homes, doctors, and pharmacies. Before this project, our client received approximately 500 faxes daily with medication plans, prescriptions, and general correspondence.
Through the project, this communication was fully digitised, indexed using OCR, analysed with an AI-based evaluation tool, and stored in Noventi’s document management system, then synchronised with PROKAS. This comprehensive business process digitalisation not only improved efficiency but also enhanced accuracy and data management.
The digitisation project spanned approximately 1 ½ years and was developed using Laravel, React Native, Google Bart, and Google Vision.
My role encompassed requirements engineering, the development of a technical action plan, and operational software development with a remote development team.
